I'm an Army veteran, a St. John Fisher grad, and a Rochester local for the past eight years. My wife and I live in Irondequoit with our two dogs, Archie and Minnie, so I know what a backyard looks like after a long week.

I handle every Yard Detail visit myself. The person you text is the person taking care of your yard.

My standard is simple:

• Show up on the day I said.

• Clean the whole yard, not just the easy parts.

• Check the gate before I leave.

• Tell you when it's done.
